About the event

Complete your weekend by exploring London with our guided walk!

Resting a mere 15 minutes from central London, Brixton is worlds apart from the imperial grandeur of the Royal City. A buzzing neighbourhood and one of the most ethnically diverse communities in London, (Brixton is) famous for its food, covered markets, graffiti, street art, mural art, music and a strong sense of community.

From a Victorian middle-class neighbourhood past the mass Afro-Caribbean immigration of the 40s, the turbulent 80s to being London’s culture capital, Brixton has seen it all. In this walk you’ll get to see its most exciting and iconic landmarks, learn about some famous locals, as well as experience its bustling multiculturalism.

We will meet at 13.50pm outside the Stockwell War Memorial for a prompt start at 14.00pm.  We'll finish around 16.00pm and there are plenty of fantastic pubs for a drink afterwards!

Please bring appropriate clothing and footwear along with your own snacks to eat along the way if you feel you may need something to keep you going!

There will be an opportunity to tip your guide if you would like to at the end of the tour!

If you have any problems or are running late, please message your host Wesley (079 0954 4553) to meet us on the way!

We look forward to meeting you!
