Come and join us for our online Christmas Baking Party!

Set your zoom screen up in the kitchen and join us for socialising over some festive baking (no baking prowess needed!)

We’ll be making your choice of 2 very simple bakes: Mince Pies or, for those who don’t have bun tins, Mince Pie twists.

Choose which of the two you’d like to make and grab the relevant ingredients listed below.

We’ll be baking together with a chance for a game or two during the oven time.

INGREDIENTS

You will need:

A baking tray (for twists) or a bun tin (for pies)

Mincemeat (Shopbought is available in supermarkets, or if you’re feeling ambitious make your own ahead of the session – Nigella has a fab mincemeat recipe)

Pastry: Puff pastry (for the twists) or sweet shortcrust (for pies). Shop bought is fine or make your own puff pastry or shortcrust to make your own before the session)

Butter / Margarine (for greasing)

1 egg or 2 tablespoons of milk

Optional bits:

Icing sugar (for dusting)

A shot of booze (brandy/rum/cointreau)

An orange (zest only)
