First Friday Bristol - Light Festival

For Bristol’s February First Friday (3rd Feb 2023) we’ll be heading out on a group walking tour of the annual Bristol Light Festival.

To join this special (and free!) event, meet the hosts between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. for food or just a drink in ‘The Yard Room’ at The Old Fish Market Pub, 59-63 Baldwin Street, Bristol, BS1 1QZ.

Then, come rain or shine, we’ll be leaving at 19:30 to walk around eight of the eleven the light installations dotted across central Bristol.*

1. Scream the House Down (The corn exchange)

2. Let us Shine (King Street)

3. Sirens (Harbourside Cascade Steps)

4. Swing Song (College Green)

5. Alright My Luvver (Queen Square)

6. Ophelia (St Mary Redcliffe Church)

7. Continuum (Temple Church)

8. Beam (Castle Bridge)

The walk ends in Finzel’s Reach at Left Handed Giant brewpub for socialising after the tour. We expect to be there by 9:30 p.m.

*Please note trying out some of the indoor / interactive installations such as the light up swings will be queue time dependent, but there will be plenty to see.
