The Phokaia beach hotel is located in the middle of Foca, is a perfect resort for watersports and outdoor activities. Close to the beach, there is a selection of bars and evening entertainment only a short walk from the hotel.

Overview

Our holiday is perfect for travelling solo, or with a group of friends. Phokaia Beach Resort is a great place, whether you want to relax on the beach or make the most of the fantastic wind conditions and take out a boat. This is the perfect holiday to socialise and meet other like-minded guests.

Holidaymakers travelling alone are invited to informal early-evening drinks in the bar and to join a group table for dinner, allowing you to get to know fellow guests. The rooms we offer are based on a twin sharing rooms.

The resort offers superb facilities including tennis, mountain and road cycling in the surrounding hills, excellent conditions for all watersports. Positioned on the west coast of Turkey, this gem of a resort is found on the outskirts of the harbour town of Foça, with its mix of traditional fishing boats and modern sail yachts plus an array of restaurants from where you can enjoy the stunning views overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

At the heart of Phokaia is an incredible 50m free-form style swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers and daybeds. Overlooking the beach is one of two restaurants and bars with spectacular views across the bay - the ideal spot to watch the end of day race and to see the stunning sunsets. This resort has well-appointed bedrooms, most with a private balcony or terrace, a Turkish bath and spa with a heated indoor pool plus an exciting programme full of activities.

Flights from London Heathrow with British Airways flying at a convenient time of 10:45am as well as Manchester and London Gatwick.

Visa requirements

UK passport holders must have at least 6 months remaining on your passport from the date that you enter Turkey.

Visitors to Turkey must also obtain an e-visa prior to travel by visiting the following website https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en. This can be done up to 3 months in advance of your travel date and cost 20 USD. Passengers will be emailed documents 24 hours after application and you must print copies to carry with you during travel. Passengers without an e-visa will not be granted entry into Turkey.

The resort board offers you flexible dining at Phokaia Beach Resort. Enjoy a daily buffet breakfasts and lunches while our evening dining includes 5 nights in-resort. For 2 nights a week there is the opportunity to sample the delectable local cuisine in Foça or for those preferring the convenience of staying in resort, a beach BBQ is available to book.

Watersport activities

The bay at Phokaia Beach Resort is perfect for all our watersport activities. Close to the shore you've perfect conditions for novice sailors and windsurfers - which also sets itself up for waterskiing and wakeboarding too. For more experienced sports people head further out into the bay and enjoy the fantastic on-shore winds.

Explore the local coastline on a kayak or SUP board or hang out under the water with the local PADI dive team.

Land activities

Phokaia is the perfect resort for those who want to get involved in activities on holiday. We offer something for all ages and abilities, including tennis, cycling and a fantastic selection of fitness classes, so there's something to take part in whatever your preference. Take a free guided tour on a mountain or road bike with an experienced guide up into the hills for exhilarating descents or relax and opt for a sundown stretch overlooking the beach.

The spa at Phokaia Beach Resort boasts five treatment rooms, as well as a sauna, Turkish bath and an indoor pool. Why not try the traditional Turkish hammam treatment during your stay, or pamper yourself with one of the many other treatments on offer.

Gym /Indoor pool

Next to the spa you'll also find a gym with an array of equipment including cross-trainers, a rowing machine, a treadmill, weights and bikes.

The indoor pool is open to all guests. Loungers are available to relax on in the pool area between dips.

· Cancellation 91+ days prior to scheduled departure date will result in refund

of payments made minus the £200 non-refundable deposit.

· Cancellation 90-61 days prior to scheduled departure will result in refund of

payments made minus the £200 non-refundable any applicable fees charged, such as cost of hotel cancellation, etc.

· Cancellation after 60 days prior to scheduled departure will not be eligible for

refund.
